In September of 1974, Lori Nesson attended a football game at her Columbus, Ohio high school, then went to a few parties with celebrating students. She was found dead the next day. For decades, authorities weren't certain if her death was accidental or murder - until a Columbus TV viewer watched a cold case program and solved the mystery.
